Arrival in Fes, your private driver will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel, where you will check in and relax. Depending on your arrival time, you will begin your private guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, many other art objects of Morocco. A visit to the Royal Palace, the tanneries, and potters are just a few places you will experience. For lunch you will eat in traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch you will complete the tour and return to your riad or hotel for the evening.
After breakfast, you will set out in the morning to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. You will spend the morning exploring the 2000-year-old ruins and getting a picture of life during the Roman Empire. We will be taken in Meknes one of Morocco’s Imperial cities, your guide will take you on a tour of Meknes, and then you will visit also the holy city of Moulay Idriss where will get lunch. After lunch will be take the road to Chefchaouen the famous blue city of Morocco in the Rif Mountains dinner will be served in the Riad.
After breakfast, you can take a free time to walk around the blue city on, tucked away in the mountains. You will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the Rif Mountains. Dinner will be served in the riad.
After breakfast, you will leave towards Casablanca the finnancial capital of morocco . On route, you will stop at Rabat, the capital city and residence of the royal family. You will visit to this Imperial city, the Hassan Tower and tomb of the two kings Hassan II and Mohammed V, Chellah and Kasbah Oudaya. After lunch you will continue on to Casablanca, will you may enjoy a tour of the Hassan II mosque one of the most elaborately designed mosques in North Africa! Dinner will be served in your hotel.
After breakfast, you will you will start to Marrakech, you will check into your riad or hotel After lunch, then head off to the Jemaa el-Fna, the center square of the medina. The famous Jemaa el-Fna, is one of the center attractions of Marrakech. Coming alive at night with the local storytellers, entertainers, and mouth-watering barbeque pits, the square is well worth a visit. A quiet cup of tea on the terrace of an adjacent café provides a spectacular panoramic view of the bustling square. Dinner will be served at the Riad or hotel.
After breakfast, you will spend the whole day with private guide for visiting Marrakech, ” known also as the “red city” for its red mud brick buildings. Founded by the Almoravides dynasty at the end of the 12th century, the city is located in the heart of a palm grove and surrounded by impressive mountains” . Spend the morning discovering the souks and Djemaa El Fna square, a market during the day and a site for an endless parade of performers and entertainers at night. After lunch at the hotel or restaurant, visit the Saadian Tombs, the Museum of Moroccan Arts hosted in Dar Si Said, the Menara and Agdal city gardens, the Koutoubia tower, and finally the Bahia Palace. In the evening you have the option to dine in a typical Moroccan restaurant with folklore show. Night in Riad or hotel.
After breakfast we will start drive to Ouarzazat through the dramatic Tizi ntichka pass (2260m), over the High Atlas Mountains, appreciate the beauty of the landscape on the twisted road through the Berber villages. Get to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah where will get the lunch, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, a UNESCO matrimonial historical site, now, a house of many Glaoui family members. After will continue to Dades Gorge via Ouarzazat, “the Hollywood of Africa”. On, through the “Road of the thousand Kasbahs”- the fascinating “sand castles”. Stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose’s city, and then continue to our hotel in Boumalen Dades.
After breakfast, we drive to the Sahara desert in Merzouga. We’ll explore Todra gorges, then we drive to Erfoud in which we may visit fossil factory and get the lunch. afterwards, we leave for the desert of Merzouga via rissani where your dromedaries will be awaiting you. You will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea and a turban (desert scarf as a gift) before you ride dromedary, guided by an experienced dromedary man, to explore within the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi. Here you will spend your night under the stars, or if you prefer, in a traditional Berber nomad tent. (You can choose the hotel in merzouga to sleep is an option if you would prefer hotel to tent).
Today we explore Erg Chebbi more deeply. We visit the city of Khamlia with Gnawa music, we discover small villages and houses inhabited in unexpected places, far from civilization. We also visit the nomads who are there, return to the hotel and stay free.
After breakfast, we leave in the direction of Fez by Errachidia along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, and through the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass to Midelt. Stop in Zaida to enjoy a barbecue and refresh yourself with a glass of mint tea then continue our journey to Azrou, a Berber village in the middle Atlas Mountains, before we stop to see the monkies in the famous cedar forest . In Ifran “the Swiss village”, stop for photos or a drink and we continue our way to your accommodation in Fez. Dinner will be served in a riad or local hotel.
