    Jewish Heritage Tour – 10 Days.     Itinerary

    Day 1Arrival in Casablanca

    Arrival in Casablanca, the financial and economic capital city, your private driver will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel, where you will check in and relax. Depending on your arrival time, you will visit the Moroccan Jewish Museum (big jewish museum in north africa) (close in Saturday), and will visit the jewish quarter Mellah , synagogue and the jewish Tomb. You may enjoy a tour of the Hassan II mosque one of the most elaborately designed mosques in North Africa! Dinner will be served in your hotel.

    Day 2Casablanca – Rabat – Meknas – Fes

    After breakfast, you will leave with your driver towards Fes, the spiritual and scientific capital city. On route, you will stop at Rabat, the capital city and residence of the royal family. You will visit to this Imperial city, the Hassan Tower and tomb of the two kings Hassan II and Mohammed V, Chellah and Kasbah Oudaya…. After lunch, we drive to meknes and will visit volubilis To explore the Roman Ruins, and will continue on to Fes. Dinner will be served at the traditional local riad or hotel.

    Day 3Fes (City Tour)

    After breakfast you will begin your private guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, many other art objects of Morocco. A visit to the Royal Palace, jewish quarter Mellah , jewish tomb, synagogue, the tanneries, and potters are just a few places you will experience. For lunch you will eat in traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch you will complete the tour and return to your hotel for the evening.

    Day 4Fes – Atlas Mountains – Midelt – Erfoud

    After an early breakfast our adventure start today to explore the magic of the desert, you will begin your ascent across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, in our way we’ill visite Ifran city switzerland of morocco, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert. Half way, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its mineral and rocks. Then we will travel through ziz valley. On the evening will arrival at the Kasbah in Erfoud. Dinner will be served in the Kasbah-Hotel.

    Day 5Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga Desert

    After a breakfast, you will the jewish tomb and synagogue of ABU HASSIRA, after that you will explore the small desert towns of Erfoud and old market of Rissani where will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, you will drive with 4×4 vehicles through the barren land to the majestic sand dunes of the Merzouga Sahara. We will have tea after we start the desert field, where our dromedaries await us, we cross the dunes to the heart of the desert to watch a beautiful sunset. Hidden behind the Great Dunes, and enjoying the music of nomads, Moroccan dinner and tea, you can see the vast sky of the stars. Dinner and sleep in the desert KASBAH in Merzouga.

    Day 6Merzouga – Tinghir – Dades Gorge

    After breakfast, you will set out behind the High Atlas Mountains on route to Boumalen Dades! Along the way, you may enjoy a walk in the towering Todra Gorges (600 feet high) near of Tinghir city where you will visit the jewish tomb and synagogue. After lunch you will across the oasis of the Dades by palm groves. On the evening will arrival at hotel in boumalen dades.

    Day 7Dades Gorge – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

    After breakfast, you will start to Marrakech via Kelaa megouna the rose city and Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Tucked away in the High Atlas Mountains, it is one of the jewels of Morocco. In typical Moroccan fashion, the true treasures must be searched out and discovered…usually off the beaten path. In actuality, this setting has been used for more films than any other location in Morocco; films including, Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, and The Gladiator.

    After lunch, you will head over the mountains to Marrakech. Once in Marrakech, you will check into your riad or hotel and then head off to the Jemaa el-Fna, the center square of the medina. The famous Jamaa el Fna, is one of the center attractions of Marrakech. Coming alive at night with the local storytellers, entertainers, and mouth-watering barbeque pits, the square is well worth a visit. A quiet cup of tea on the terrace of an adjacent café provides a spectacular panoramic view of the bustling square. Dinner will be served at the Riad or hotel.

    Day 8Marrakech (City Tour)

    After breakfast, you will spend the whole day with private guide for visiting Marrakech, ” known also as the “red city” for its red mud brick buildings. Founded by the Almoravides dynasty at the end of the 12th century, the city is located in the heart of a palm grove and surrounded by impressive mountains”. Spend the morning discovering the 2 jewish tomb, jewish quarter Mellah and 2 synagogue, afetr that will visit souks and Djemaa El Fna square, a market during the day and a site for an endless parade of performers and entertainers at night. After lunch at the hotel or restaurant, visit the Saadian Tombs, the Museum of Moroccan Arts hosted in Dar Si Said, the Menara and Agdal city gardens, the Koutoubia tower, and finally the Bahia Palace. In the evening you have the option to dine in a typical Moroccan restaurant with folklore show. Night in Riad or hotel.

    Day 9Marrakech – Essaouira

    After breakfast at the hotel, we drive west towards Essaouira MOGADOR (big jewish moroccan city), a charming town well known for its artisans who produce unique handicrafts. The city suddenly appears over a great rocky peninsula, with its white walls, blue doors and windows. The beauty of it all, the softness of colours and light, the fresh climate in the summer create an ambience that reins it. You will visit the jewish quarter Mellah and synagogue. You will get the lunch of soft fish near of the beach of medina.

    Essaouira is where the sea and the dreams are infinite, where ancient stories are marked on the small port, on the fort of Vauban, and the labyrinth of streets hide so many tales. Spend the night in a riad or hotel in Essaouira.

    Day 10Essaouira – Casablanca Airport

    You will be taken to the casablanca airport for departure, crossing the coastal road via Asafi and Eljadida.
